Some Basic Info Not in History

Which canon version do I use: I use the 90s canon (anime, manga and Sega CD game as well as what novels were released) which is why I can move him past a certain age. I am not terribly familiar with the changes in the later manga but do know the novel canon fairly well. However, the canon ending for the novel is not at all like the 90s manga or Sega CD game due to the fact the author had not yet released the final book at that time those were made/ended.
(I'll add more as I decide what is needed)
