[Arslan was aware enough about the town being strange.  He was attentive, and listened to the calls he could (even if he had no idea exactly how that phone thing was supposed to work), but actual details about the town's antics were scarce.  He'd spoken with Edward briefly, and a comment had been made about Mayfield possibly having different ideas on how to celebrate Christmas... Hogswatch...  Whatever it was called.  All that had not immensely bothered the young Prince.]

[However, a talk with Lancer had given him at least a bit more information to work off of.  Unfortunately, it had also served to agitate the young man, who had often been referred to, unknowingly, as eccentric and naive by his own comrades; mostly Guibu, who had a dislike of royalty to begin.]

[That conversation, when attached to the general feelings he felt for his Father, and the fact that if the guy he'd met twice was really Gilgamesh, had left a bitter taste in his mouth.  He wanted to be nothing like these leaders who would send their sons away for crimes they never committed, or would act arrogant as if they were the only ruler, or would bother to go so far as to just destroy homes and people because things weren't going there way.  He refused to be like them!]

[So early Saturday, Arslan had got himself up.  Sneaking downstairs so as not to wake the rest of the family, he had his knife at his side and had gone off to find anyplace he could that was somewhat secluded.  Since the park was being used for Santa's Village, he went over to the school and borrowed the football field.  Anyone who happens past will find him there practicing with a knife, and seeming to work out his frustrations.]

[Later in the day, you can find him sitting around in his front yard just playing with the snow.  He's making snowballs, but he isn't chucking them at anyone.  In fact, he seems lost in thought.  Feel free to bother him either:

A.  At the football field while he's practicing
B.  While he's busy making the snowballs]
